I’m Damir. I have been levitating between technology and art for the last 20 years.
Not much is left of my first website built approx. 2004.
Since then, I have graduated with the degree in Business Information Systems program from the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Serbia.
I started working as a professional web engineer in 2016. Until then, I was focused on cultural activism and the promotion of alternative culture and art in my city, as well as my own music and performances.
Currently, I am working as a web engineer at Rareview, and I am fully occupied with modern and advanced WordPress technologies and development techniques.
I am also a father, husband and a bike enthusiast.
Unlike the PHP / ACF / SCSS (Sass) themes I’ve built so far, this is a block-based FSE WP site. It was originally built within WP VIP codebase, on Lando (Docker), with the help of Composer, NPM build tools, and mostly while listening to the Boards Of Canada Special mix on NTS radio.
More and less, this tech-stack describes what my focus will be in the upcoming period.

My average bike rides are 50-60 km, and max is ~110 km. I try to keep it recreational, and I prefer looking for new places, nature, views, experiences rather than pushing myself to the limits. Feel free to follow me up on Strava.
I am not currently available for any business inquiries, but if you would like to say hi, share your thoughts, share your playlist or book a gig in/near Subotica, you can find me at tahiri.damir@gmail.com.
